Plot:
Olokun, The  Sea Goddess, has had The Green Stone Bead for 1014 years. The living want it to protect humanity. Chiuta the Skygod send Ananse, the trickster and crafty monkey to retrieve the Bead from the bottom of the sea.
Will the world’s Sea Goddesses and Thunder Gods release the Bead?

The Green Stone Bead features spellbinding cross-cultural storytelling singing dancing and drumming. Full of fun and excitement for the family.

Check out other dates for the performance here.

‘Our Shared Heritage’ project aims to get more people to understand and talk about the cross-cultural connections between stories, objects and artefacts from different cultures. Using objects and artefacts displayed especially in five galleries at The British Museum, the training will equip participants with skills to investigate and identify the cross-cultural connections between stories, objects and artefacts from different cultures.
