Once again during the FCO leadership week HMG’s Heads of Mission from Cote d’Ivoire, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Mali and Niger have kindly agreed to speak to Business Council for Africa and British Expertise members about the business environment and key investment opportunities in their countries. It has been a traumatic year in West Africa with the Ebola crisis dominating the news, however there is now considerable effort in helping in the reconstruction for which the private sector will play a vital part. We are delighted to welcome new Heads of Mission in Liberia (David Belgrove, OBE), Guinea (Catherine Inglehearn) and welcome back Peter West (Sierra Leone), Mark Bensberg (Cote d’Ivoire) and Jo Adamson (Mali and Niger). As always there will be plenty of time set aside to network over a buffet lunch.
