With less than 100 days to go before the United Nations Climate Change Conference gets underway in Paris. What is the likelihood of an agreement for limiting global warming to 2°C? Universal Peace Federation welcomes you to attend our next Sustainable Development Goals meeting on Wednesday 28th of October 2015.
This event will begin with a networking reception followed by talks from our guest speakers focusing on the politics involved in the setting of global climate change policy. After the guest speakers there will be several break-out groups led by the speakers to increase the interaction with participants considering how we can work together to prevent severe climate change and build a more peaceful and sustainable world after the Paris Climate Change conference. One group will look at the individual decisions that can lead to a more sustainable lifestyle.
Humphrey Hawksley, BBC World Affairs Correspondent, will be considering the consequences of Climate Change on Geopolitics in the Artic.
