The Last Supper project has been developed over a period of two years. It began as a series of performances that reference the painting of The Last Supper by Leonardo Da Vinci as a visual starting point. As it moves into the GoetheonMain space, further development will follow the context of the new environment. The process of development involves workshops, rituals, eating together and different forms of movement as a performance group experimenting with creating and extending connections and communities, especially focusing on the existing communities in the area. Variations on the format and structure of the piece, as well as the inclusion of the surrounding community and society within the Maboneng and surrounding area, will be an interesting and important development for the project.
Opening performance: 23 April, 18H30
10, 17, 24, 31 May at 12H00
