The PEI UnConference series is returning in July this year and will be our biggest to date, bringing together over 150 people working on science, technology and innovation in Africa for a highly interactive day of discussions and debate.
This year, the focus will be on how the private sector can best drive scientific and technological development and work with Governments, academic communities and the broader civil society to support sustainable and inclusive growth.
A day-long event of panel sessions, workshops, table groups and participant-led discussions, the UnConference is open and free to attend thanks to the generosity of our partners!
Alongside PEI Trustees Rt Hon Lord Boateng and Sir Christopher Edwards, keynote speakers, panellists and workshop leaders will be announced in the coming weeks, already including:
- Minister Professor Tickodri-Togboa, Minister of Higher Education, Uganda
- Dr. Kamal Bhattacharya, Director of IBM Research-Africa
- HE Frederick Kawuma, Secretary General, Inter-Africa CoffeeOrganisation
