On November 23, the Planet Earth Institute (PEI), an international NGO and charity, will celebrate its official launch in Mauritius with a YouDECIDE debate. Entitled ‘Mauritius and Africa’s scientific independence: the role of business’, the ‘YouDECIDE’ event is an interactive policy roundtable, with guests voting on key decisions throughout. The event will be hosted by the President of Mauritius, HE President Ameenah Gurib-Fakim and the PEI Board, to welcome 40-50 guests from academia, government and the international development community.
