Konnect2Africa Ltd in partnership with Mums in Technology is proud to present its inaugural ‘Pioneering STEM in Africa 2015 Summit’. This event aims to bring Africa to the forefront of the minds of investors when it comes to STEM. It will address key topics in advancing STEM and technical education in Africa through the collaboration of industry, educators and policy makers.

Key themes to be covered include the role of schools, colleges, and universities in developing STEM; careers and skills development; and international perspectives, research and initiatives.

This event runs over 2 days and provides a good platform for delegates to network, and have thought-provoking questions answered by a panel of key industry leaders in STEM.

Session 4 – Addressing STEM in Africa through Education

This session is aimed at challenging policy makers, and education providers to promote STEM by reworking education delivery at all levels.

K2A and Mums In Technology are proud to be hosting this year’s Pioneering STEM in Africa Summit at The Royal Society in London. The Royal Society is a self-governing Fellowship of many of the world’s most distinguished scientists drawn from all areas of science, engineering, and medicine.

Based in the heart of London, The Royal Society is within walking distance of Piccadilly Circus, Green Park and Charing Cross railway station. This historic venue has hosted and organised some of the most important events in the scientific world.
