Thousands of Father Christmas’s will descend upon Victoria Park, London, on 6th December in a bid to raise funds for their chosen charity in the Do it for Charity Santa Run. Now is your chance to join them!
Whether you run, jog or walk – this event is all about the taking part, not the winning. No previous experience is required and with a bit of training, the 5km or 10km distance should easily be within your capabilities! Plus, with our training and fitness advice we expect you will be ready in no time!

When and where
The 2015 Do It for Charity Santa Run will take place on Sunday, 6th December in London’s Victoria Park. This parkland venue offers a perfect setting for you to enjoy your run on behalf of Bread and Water for Africa UK! Costume collection will be from 9:45am with the run due to start from approximately 11:00am.

Why?
Excellent question! You can make a real difference for Bread and Water for Africa UK’s grassroots partner projects in some of Africa’s most vulnerable communities by participating in community fundraising events like the Santa Run!
By running in this year’s Santa Run and raising funds on behalf of Bread and Water for Africa UK, you can help us reach our goal of raising £10,000 for a water well to be built outside of a school in the Hill Station community of Sierra Leone. Nearly 3,000 individuals in this community, including the students at the primary school, have no clean source of water and often students miss school in order to walk several kilometres to the nearest source of water. But you can help us change all that by getting in the “spirit of giving” and donning a Santa suit in the name of charity this December!
What do I need to do next?
Simply register online using the Do It For Charity online platform, and then share with your friends and colleagues! If you would prefer a paper copy of the registration form email info@africanrelief.org.uk and we would be happy to send one along to you. As long as you can commit to raising the minimum sponsorship (£100) and are interested in getting in the holiday spirit, Bread and Water for Africa UK will be delighted to have you running on their behalf!
