Get Discovered is the first ever YouTube music competition for aspiring singers/songwriters, MCs, DJs and producers to show case their talent, with the purpose of raising awareness of blood cancer amongst young people especially from a Asian, Black Afro-Caribbean background.

Get Discovered is designed to get young music talent heard and to raise awareness of blood cancer, highlighting how easy it is to register as a blood stem cell donor.

Thousands of people are diagnosed with blood cancer every year. Their only chance of survival is to find a matching blood stem cell donor. Younger people have a better chance of saving someone’s life, yet only a ¼ of people registered to help are aged 17-30 and only 6% are from a Black or Asian background.
