Cuban jazz pianist Roberto Fonseca joins Malian soul singer Fatoumata Diawara in a unique collaborative performance.

Following the pair’s collaboration on Fonseca’s last record,YO, which saw the Buena Vista Social Club star indulge his interest in his African roots, Fonseca and Diawara continue to experiment with the links between Cuban and Malian music in a live setting, and explore their shared passions.

While Fonseca’s jazz leanings take the project’s distinctly Malian elements in new directions, Diawara’s yearning vocals set his rolling piano figures in a completely different context.
