Why Africa?
Due to greater political stability and economic reforms, Africa has been the second-fastest growing region in the world over the past 10 years, with an average annual growth of 5.1%. By 2035 Africa’s labour force will be bigger than that of any individual country in the world of whom are better educated than ever before providing UK businesses with a wide range of opportunities to tap into this high growth markets.

Countries in Africa are looking to diversify their economy from over-specialisation on natural resources to development in sectors such as tourism, technology, engineering, services, telecommunications, construction and other non-traditional sectors. This diversification is acting to expand Africa’s range of products, exports and engage with new economic and development partners. This diversification is predicted to rapidly grow Africa’s economy from a current $2 trillion to $29 trillion by 2050.
