Explosive Afrobeat and funk/jazz tenor and alto saxophonist Ben Audu leads his terrific 9-piece band.

They will play tracks from the new album, Glorious Crown and their first album Thanksgiving. Ben Audu takes the Fela Kuti’s relentless African swing and Maceo Parker’s punchy groves and creates something new and uplifting. The music is driving by the infectious afrobeat groves combination of traditional, Yoruba music, jazz, highlife, funk and chanted vocals fused with percussion and laced with intricate jazz solos.
