The Young Africa Centre Presents: ‘A Day of Blackstars’ – celebrating 60 years of Ghanaian independence.

                                    

As we look to the past, this day will showcase the talent of young artists from Ghana and the diaspora. The event is also a fundraiser to support the future endeavours of the Young Africa Centre.
From 14:00pm, an exhibition of archival footage, film, and art from budding Ghanaian artists will be on display. Mingle and muse over the thought-provoking and insghtful imagery presented. Throughout the day our pop-up market will have a range of small businesses selling goods inspired by the rich culture of the Ghana.
At 18:00 pm, begins an exciting evening of spoken word, poetry, music and a DJ will be our entertainment to end the night. Taking us on a journey from old school highlife to modern day afrobeats. Be ready to Azonto and Alkayida.
